There are several local scholarships available to graduating high school seniors! Please see the links below for scholarship details and applications! These scholarships are due SOON, so please note due dates for each and where each application should be submitted!
Rowe McNeely Scholarship (specifically for 4-H’ers in Rowan and Iredell Counties). Due to Laura Allen, Rowan 4-H Agent, by NOON on Tuesday, March 18. Interviews will be held at the Iredell County Cooperative Extension office on Wednesday, March 26 starting at 6 p.m. **This application is due to the county 4-H agent.**
4-H South Central District Volunteer Leaders’ Association Scholarship (specifically for active 4-H’ers in the 19 counties that make up the South Central 4-H District). Stay tuned for updates on the 2025 application & due dates. **This application is due to the county 4-H agent.**
Rowan County Holstein Club Scholarship (due by April 1, 2025 to Andy Corriher, mailing address on last page of document)
Justin Michael Sloop Scholarship (due by April 1, 2025 to Frances Hoffner, mailing address on last page of document)
Rowan County Fair Scholarship/ NC Fair Scholarship (due to the Rowan County Cooperative Extension office by Friday, March 14, 2025)
NC State Fair Livestock Scholarships (due by March 1, 2025)
R.Flake Shaw NC Farm Bureau Scholarship (due by March 3, 2025). Must be pursing a career in agriculture or an agriculturally-related field.
Ag Carolina Farm Credit Scholarships (due by March 15, 2025)
Mountaire Farm to Table Scholarships (can apply from September-June). Must be pursing a career in agriculture or culinary arts.
