2026 Rowan County 4-H Poultry Projects
Join us for the return of the Rowan County 4-H Pullet and Broiler Projects! Each project will show at the Rowan County Fair. Rowan County youth can participate in one or both projects. All details are linked in the rules below:
2026 Rowan Broiler Project Rules
Please note that PULLET pick up is tentatively April 23 and BROILER pick up is tentatively August 3. More details to come.Registration Details:
Each project has its own rules and pickup dates. Registration will end April 4 for the Pullet Project and July 24 for the Broiler Project. There must be at least 5 participants and no more than 20 for each project.Project Costs:
- Pullets: $30
- Broilers: $20
How to Register:
- Enroll your child in 4-HOnline (if they are not already a member for the 2026 year).
- Once they are approved in 4-HOnline, then you must register under "events" in 4-HOnline. If you need assistance with this, please click here for instructions.
- Payment must be mailed or brought to the Rowan County Cooperative Extension office. We accept cash or check made to CES. The address is: Rowan County Cooperative Extension, 1959 Jake Alexander Blvd. W, Suite 1400, Salisbury, NC 28147.
