If you are interested in your child learning about and showing a dairy heifer, but don't have the facilities necessary to do this on your own, this project is for you! Participants will gain hands-on learning experience with a dairy heifer and gain dairy knowledge and showmanship skills. This is limited to youths who reside in Rowan County, NC and are ages 5-18 (as of January 1).

This is a time commitment and all dates are listed at the link below. Please allow your child to apply only if you can commit to the dates/times and can abide by all rules & guidelines. Please take time to carefully read though the information linked below.

This year the registration process is by application. All applications will be reviewed by a committee and you will be notified by July 1, 2025 if your child was or was not selected to participate.
