Conference Series Topic: Effective Weed Management in Pastures and Hay Fields Featuring: Neil Rhodes, Weed Specialist at University of Tennessee and Kathy Voth, Livestock for Landscapes Participants will also hear from local producers, NC State Extension, and have time to visit a trade show. Pesticide and animal waste credits are available during this series. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., the program is from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Adults are $25/each and students are $10/each. County Council is for any 4-H'er ages 12-18 as of January 1st. They plan and lead Rowan County 4-H activities. They will meet in the conference room in Suite A.

Fit tests must be conducted annually and for each type of respirator you plan to wear, including particulate-filtering face masks (formerly known as dust/mist masks). If any drastic changes in physical appearance occur within the year that cause the seal to become compromised, an additional fit test must be done. Loose fitting respirators (e.g., helmets, hoods) do not require fit testing but do require medical clearance.
This training will be provided by NC State Weed Specialists and is organized in cooperation with the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This training will fulfill the requirement mandated by federal and 24(c) labels of dicamba containing products registered for over-the-top use on dicamba-tolerant cotton and soybean.
This is a required volunteer training for Rowan County 4-H Volunteers. We will be in Room A.
