Pickled-Vegetables-Salting

Spring is almost here and beautiful days are ahead. Time to preserve some of the fresh produce to enjoy in the fall and winter time. New to canning or an experienced canner? Whatever your situation, you are welcome to join N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center’s Home Food Preservation (HFP) Series offered in-person and online. The online HFP series is being offered by the North Central District of N.C. Cooperative Extension, where several surrounding county agents are collaborating to bring you the education needed to preserve foods safely.

NOTE***Prerequisite for In-person Series – If you do NOT have any experience or have limited experience in canning, please register for the online Introduction to Canning session #1 OR take time to view this video (registration is required) to familiarize yourself with the basics of canning. All ongoing sessions are fast-paced and prior understanding of canning is required.

Also, for In-Person workshops, each session will open up for registration 3 weeks prior to the scheduled workshop.
